His career began at Kempinski Hotel in Baku, where he gained valuable experience in purchasing and cashier roles. Ayaz then enhanced his expertise through cross-training in accounting, food and beverage, and front office operations with Pullman Baku by Accor Group. He has consistently demonstrated his leadership and management skills in supervisory and managerial positions, most recently serving as the Banquet Manager at Ivy Garden Hotel in Azerbaijan.
Work Experience:
Ayaz Mammadov began his career in the hospitality industry as a Purchaser at Kempinski Hotel in Baku from September 2011 to April 2013. He then transitioned to the role of General Cashier at the same hotel, where he worked from May 2013 to July 2016.
In early 2016, Ayaz completed cross-training in accounting at Pullman Baku by Accor Group, which lasted from January to March. This training led to a position as an Accountant at Pullman Hotels by Accor Group & Resorts in Baku, where he served from August 2016 to April 2018. During this period, he also undertook cross-training in Food & Beverage from October to December 2017.
Ayaz's expertise in the food and beverage sector was further solidified when he became an F&B Position Supervisor at Pullman Baku Hotel, a role he held from May 2018 to July 2019. In 2019, he expanded his skill set through cross-training in the Front Office at Pullman Baku by Accor Group from March to July.
In February 2022, Ayaz took on the role of Reception & Night Audit at Badamdar Estate Hotel, Mikayil Musvig 1C, where he worked until July 2022. He then joined Ivy Garden Hotel as an F&B Position Supervisor, a position he held from July 2022 to March 2023. Currently, Ayaz is the Banquet Manager at Ivy Garden Hotel, a role he has been thriving in since March 2023.
